Yuri Pattison is a London-based artist. “Mute Conversation” made in 2015 is a piece about machine-to-machine conversation. It connects two commercial chatterbots with each other. One of the agents is programmed by artist with texts adressing current issues facing the digital world such as “Hacker Manifesto” and “Crypto Anarchist Manifesto”. The other agent is an independent online service learning through communication with humans aka users. The work is constantly changing and evolving, through new material and data.
